Pin Mill is on the river Orwell - between Ipswich and Shotley. There are two parts, the wooded shoreline and the heath land on top at the back.

WorK: Onthe shore line we repair the footpaths and revetment (wooden stakes to stop the bank washing away). On the heath we clear invading trees and gorse bushes. Recently we put in morring posts for the house boats.

Directions: Take the A137 out of Ipswich. Turn off onto the B1456, before the Ski slope. Then continue down parallel to the river until you reach Chelmondiston, and the pub Venturer is on the right. Behind the pub is a public car park, right at the back between pub and hairdressers. We meet then turn left to Pin Mill (by a blue sign). Go down to the bottom where there and mak our way down to pin mill. Sometime we meet at other locations, always check with the Team leader for the task.
